As Embrace Your Journeys continues to grow, I'm committed to giving back to the community that has supported me. I'm incredibly passionate about a few key causes. I'm excited to share more about the organizations close to my heart: Luminis Health Anne Arundel Medical Center Foundation, Heart Failure Patient Foundation, and Edgewater Volunteer Fire Department. These groups do fantastic work, and I encourage you to learn how they're making a difference.
I am a proud member of the Board of Directors for Luminis Health Anne Arundel Medical Center Foundation. In this role, I am committed to supporting Luminis Health's mission to enhance the health of the community we serve. I work alongside fellow board members to drive philanthropic efforts, ensuring that the hospital has the resources it needs to provide exceptional care, innovative programs, and vital services to patients and families in our region.
As a dedicated volunteer and Board Member, I also serve as the Capitol Project Director for the Edgewater Volunteer Fire Department. In this capacity, I promote vital construction and renovation projects that enhance the department's capabilities. I engage with the project teams involved and work closely with community stakeholders to raise the necessary funds, ensuring these projects support the department's mission to protect and serve the Edgewater community.
I am deeply honored to be a founding board member of the Heart Failure Patient Foundation. In this role, I am dedicated to supporting the foundation's mission to improve the lives of individuals affected by heart failure. I work alongside fellow board members to raise awareness, provide resources, and advocate for patients and caregivers, ensuring they receive the care, support, and education they need to live fulfilling lives despite their condition. Together, we strive to make a meaningful difference in the heart failure community.
